Life's Revenge Guide Service offers a wide range of full-service guided freshwater and saltwater fishing trips as well as seasonal eco-tours on the James River and Chesapeake Bay.

Capt. J. Mike Hoke is a Richmond native who has fished the James River regularly since age 5 and the Chesapeake Bay region since age 7. He has citations in 9 different freshwater species (multiple citations in most species) and 5 different saltwater species in VA and NC. With nearly 30 years of experience plying the world class fisheries from Richmond to the Eastern Shore barrier islands, Capt. Mike put in the time to attain the expertise and confidence needed to become a professional guide. Noteworthy recent accomplishments include a 2nd place finish in the 2007 Big Cat Quest hourly competition and 2nd place in the 2007 World Black Drum Championship - boating a 78 lb drum while fishing alone. He also has a wealth of knowledge of the rich history and many landmarks along the James River watershed.

You'll be fishing from a legendary, unsinkable 23.5 foot 2005 Boston Whaler Conquest powered by a 225 hp 4-stroke Mercury Verado with high-tech electronics for navigation and safety. This is a walk-around cuddy with a head below and a full, heated enclosure for comfortable year 'round fishing. Capt. Mike uses only the best tackle, including Shimano and Penn rods and reels.
